When you are completing your doctorate in forensic psychology, you will be able to do one of the years of supervised work experience that you need in order to qualify for your license. You will be able to do one of the years in an internship while you are earning your doctorate, but you will need to do the other year after you earn your degree. Each of the years needs to have 1,500 hours of work experience.
